This project documents my analysis of the TP-Link Archer C7 v5 router firmware. My goal is to work through the firmware research process from initial target reconnaissance and firmware acquisition to filesystem analysis, service enumeration, and eventually reverse engineering interesting binaries.

This first part focuses on understanding the target, obtaining the manufacturer’s stock firmware, recording the exact sample I selected, and performing some initial binary triage before extracting anything.
